You don’t need to get one yourself. We handle the referral as part of your booking and schedule your scan at a partner imaging center near you.

About 1 mSv. For context, a year of natural background radiation is about 3 mSv. The actual dose varies by person and scanner.

There are no needles or contrast dye, so preparation is simple. The imaging center will share any instructions before your appointment.

Great news: no calcified plaque was found. A calcium score can’t see soft plaque, so if you have other risk factors, your doctor may suggest the Veevo Scan for the full picture.
